Cambridge St

Union Square 1910. Cambridge St to the left and Brighton Ave to the right Allston Square looking south towards Union Square Circa 1910. Washington Allston School in the background built in 1879 Construction of the Cambridge St Bridge, looking towards Boston. Orchard at left soon became the B&A Beacon Park railyards. Circa 1900   The Gardner-Rice House, 228 Cambridge Street, Allston, on land that now forms part of the Beacon Park railyard. Demolished.  Cambridge St houses with Windom St in the center. Circa 1900. B&A roundhouse construction in foreground. The four houses on either side of Windom St are now gone
